These step-on door holders are constructed of diecast material and come in an aluminum painted color. These step-on door holders measure a full 9-inch in overall height from tip to tip when fully extended, with a 1-1/4 inch reach. Door holders like these operate with a simple downward press of the plastic foot pedal to engage the bolt, and a downward press of the steel tab to disengage and retract the bolt into its housing, all without having to bend, kneel or squat. These plunger bolt type door holders are designed for use with all swinging doors in both residential and commercial applications. They feature a spring-loaded mechanism that helps keep them in the upright, stored position when not in use, and they’re designed to hold swinging doors open at a desired location, with replacement tips available under model 658-1054. Door-mounted holders like these are easy to install and are used by many. Installation fasteners are included with each door holder.
