Our Braies Gisbert is a medieval form of underpants similar to today's boxer shorts.The exact origin and cut of the braies are unclear; they probably originated from the Germanic breeches and were gradually degraded to underwear after the popularity of chausses.Our model comes in a coarse cotton fabric with the usual 12th-century overlap which provides the characteristic drape.
